Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 12, 2025
Summary
mostly is designed with privacy at its core. Your habit data stays on your device. We don't collect, store, or sell your personal information.
Data Storage
All habit data — check-ins, goals, cycles, and notes — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If you enable iCloud sync (premium feature), your data is synced through your personal iCloud account, which Apple manages. We never have access to your iCloud data.
What We Don't Collect
- No personal information (name, email, phone number)
- No usage analytics or tracking
- No advertising identifiers
- No location data
- No third-party analytics SDKs
Crash Reporting
We use Sentry for crash reporting to improve app stability. Crash reports contain technical information about the error (device model, OS version, stack trace) but no personal data or habit information.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We don't receive or store your payment information. Apple handles all transaction processing.
Notifications
If you enable notifications, reminder schedules are stored locally on your device. We don't use push notifications from a server — all notifications are scheduled locally.
Data Export & Deletion
You can export all your data as JSON from the app settings. You can delete all data at any time from within the app. When you delete the app, all local data is removed.
Children's Privacy
mostly is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
